The DrugStats database is a sanitized, standardized version of a publicly available database provided by the U.S. Government. This database is updated yearly and includes more than 3 billion outpatient prescription fills per year. This database is a free alternative to the much more expensive IMS Health or QuintilesIMS database, which is more targeted towards pharmaceutical industry.
